A BRAND for the boldly authentic.

Through a whirlwind of collaboration, competitor analysis, and countless focus groups, we nailed down a look that screamed our brand's core values: transparency, authenticity, and an unmistakably bold attitude.

We went with bright, bold colors against a crisp, white background to shout our no-filter, no-bullshit vibe, while also reflecting the cleanliness of our product.

This eye-catching design wasn't just for show—it was a necessity given the fast-paced nature of our product development. Quick turnaround was essential to get this brand to market!


A variety of design approaches and attitudes were drafted by Creativision’s Creative Director, Rebeca Tellez.

THE BRIEF

Armed with a brief from the award-winning powerhouse agency, New York's Strawberry Frog, we dove into exploring a variety of designs to capture the essence of "No B.S. Skincare." Did we want to embrace a small-batch, kraft paper, vibe? Or perhaps channel the holistic yet mainstream appeal of brands like Lush?

THE KICK-OFF

Introducing a skincare brand into an already saturated market meant that the right regimen was key. Here’s the drop and what it looked like:

STEP ONE: THE FOAMING CLEANSER

Under flap: No Scrubs

Packaging: Clean your face the right way, and save the grinding for your hustle. Hydrating aloe keeps skin fresh while foaming action makes quick work of makeup and stubborn pore debris, so you stay lookin’ like class.

STEP TWO: purifying facial toner

Under flap: Tone it up

Packaging: Think of this pH-balancing toner as your insurance policy against dirt and debris. It wipes away lingering nasties while tea tree oil and witch hazel visibly shrink pores and fight acne-causing bacteria. Hydrating cucumber and green tea give skin a sip of antioxidants, leaving your face smooth and refreshed. 

STEP THREE: VITAMIN C+E SERUM

Under Flap: Rise and Grind

This lightweight Day + Night reparative serum packs antioxidant superheroes like Pomegranate, Hyaluronic Acid and Green Tea Extract to repair beat up cells and boost collagen production. 

sTEP FOUR: SPF MOISTURIZER

Practice safe skin! Use daily to protect against harmful UVA/UVB rays, environmental stressors, and hidden dangers like blue light from your screen.

STEP FIVE: RETINOL NIGHT CREAM

Rely on the power of Retinol to soften fine lines and refine skin texture as it gently resurfaces skin for an improved overall complexion. Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid keeps everything dewy, while antioxidant Vitamin E safeguards your skin against nasty free radicals.

SARAH HYLAND COLLAB

I conceptualized and developed the Sarah Hyland collaboration campaign for No B.S. Skincare, leading the creative strategy from pitch to production. This included designing the full campaign architecture—ideating the celebrity-ambassadorship model, crafting a relatable and cheeky “call-in” concept, and shaping the visual and messaging direction.


HARMON BROTHERS COMMERCIAL

Collaborated directly with the CEO of No B.S. Skincare and the Harmon Brothers Agency to develop the creative strategy for a national video campaign. I played a key role in the scriptwriting process, brainstorming narrative angles, editing scenes, and helping refine the tone to ensure it aligned with the brand’s no-nonsense, empowering voice.

 In addition to scripting, I co-art directed the campaign’s supporting visuals—including lifestyle and product photography—alongside a fellow Volta Global art director and the Harmon Brothers team. 

From casting and styling to composition and mood, I ensured each visual asset echoed the same bold, fresh energy as the video itself. This collaboration helped produce a high-impact campaign that elevated brand storytelling and engagement across digital platforms!


THE AWESOME GUIDE TO A NO B.S. LIFE

Partnered closely with the CEO of No B.S. Skincare and a fellow art director to co-write The Awesome Guide to a No B.S. Life, a bold and cheeky lifestyle book designed to extend the brand’s mission beyond skincare. I contributed to chapter development, helped shape the book’s tone and structure, and submitted sassy quotes, funny zingers, and bold one-liners that were incorporated throughout—ensuring the brand’s irreverent, no-filter personality came through on every page. This project served as both a creative extension of our brand voice and a unique piece of evergreen content that deepened our relationship with our audience through humor, authenticity, and empowerment.
